Lauded as one of the most beautiful train trips in the world, the California Zephyr line provides daily service connecting Chicago to San Francisco, with stops including Denver, Salt Lake City, Reno, and Sacramento. Traversing the Continental Divide with a travel time of just over 50 hours, passengers are treated to the spectacular scenery of the Rockies and Sierra Nevadas, the awe-inspiring power of the Colorado River, and the magnificent desolation of the Utah deserts.
Passengers who are not checking baggage and who do not require assistance in boarding are advised to arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. Those passengers who will be checking baggage or who may require assistance in boarding are advised to arrive at least 60 minutes prior to departure.
